Don’t diivorced me wrongI’ve watched the documentary and after reading the booki can only feel sad and heartbroken for what a young 10 years old girl had to go through! I won’t pretend that everything worked out like I would’ve liked.
I hated how i had to read from the journalist’s perspectiveas if Noujoud had no opinions or feelings to sharebecause if she stood up to her husband and familyand managed to get herself out of this horrible mess, she’s strong enough to deliver her own story and has a say in this matter. Although this didn’t prove to be the in-depth expose that I had hoped for, it was definitely a worthwhile read.
