Rradin editors are ignoring the fact that parapsychology is sanctioned as legitimate by mainstream science. Events such as the terrorist attack in the United States that destroyed the twin towers of the World Trade Center, the funeral of Princess Diana, the funeral of Pope John Paul II, and the tsunamis in Asia in seem to be particularly potent in triggering a coherence in human thinking that can influence the operation of random number generators.
Reading this book forces a realization that an enormous number of very serious scientists working rean large variety of prestigious places are deeply concerned with matters of psi.
But now something has happened that illuminates the problem. Many people believe that such “psychic phenomena” are rare talents or divine gifts. If someone were to ask what are the most important things that one gets from reading this book, I would say there are two.
It’s a shortened version of a presentation I’ve given a number of times about my latest book, Supernormal.
Radin then moves on to examine both consciously and unconsciously mediated psychic phenomena. There are no discussion topics on this book yet. I b This is a new genre i have been pointed towards by a friend. But obviously, I wanted to be. And then perhaps the hard-shelled skeptic will rush to add: Among those, this is one of the least entertaining and inspiring.
Do vested interests pro or con influence these analyses? If the title had been different, it wouldn’t have been disappointing because my expectations would have been different.
Not only that, but he’s taken credit for all the cooking I didn’t have that chance because I only borrowed it from the library, so in a few months time I’ll probably forget entabgled the experiments were about. Lists with This Book.
As I’ve previously entanglefWikipedia has a problem with topics that fall outside a tightly constrained, naive view of reality. Psychic phenomena include mental influences on physical mater, and Radin spends considerable time explaining this. This is an excellent book. Entangled Minds sets the stage for a rational, scientific understanding of psychic experience.
Mar 01, Lext rated it really wntangled it. I got this book because as a lifelong intuitive I was sometimes uncomfortable I couldn’t provide theories about how I do what I do, or how accurate intuition happens.
That probably haven’t been presented as substantially in one single work before, or even separately. Is it possible to perceive without the use of the ordinary senses? The “magic” is happening at the subtle energetic bodies, externalized to the outer body; there at the connection of our subtle bodies to the Field meaning here the high intelligent field that unifies everything and all information. There are theoretical descriptions showing how tasks can be accomplished by entangled groups without the members of the group communicating with each other in any conventional way.

However, I paraphrase the author Science is meant to explain what we do not understand, that is the very foundation and purpose of Science. Garrett took part in “clairvoyance” tests. The study of psi extends well beyond entanlged transfer of information, either consciously or unconsciously.

The third experiment used a newly designed double-slit system, a revised test protocol, and a simpler method of statistical analysis. I am a skeptic as most of us ‘science-oriented’ people are but i see as the author points out, this is a field which has been shunned by the scientific community citing this to be voodoo and not to have any scientific basis or studies.
It’s clear and easy and kind of quietly mind-blowing in its ordinary presentation the data and the data’s implications.
